I just came across this image while perusing the internet– it blows my mind! Art student Sara Watson at the University of Central Lancashire in the U.K. spray painted an old car to become ‘invisible’ when positioned and viewed from just the right angle in front of her art studio. There’s not much additional information, but here’s the Daily News article.
This reminds me of the upcoming MFA/BFA exhibition season! If you haven’t done the circuit of local schools showing their graduates’ work before, it’s really a fun way to look at a lot of new- and often experimental- art in one place.
Here are a few that I hope to check out in the NYC region: NYU, SVA, Yale, and Parsons/New School. If you need an added incentive, there’s typically free-flowing wine.
